Abigail Vasquez, LMSW
Hi, I’m Abigail Vasquez—a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Qualified Mental Health Professional. Clients often describe me as a compassionate listener, a steadfast advocate, and a supportive presence in their journey toward healing.
For over eight years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside individuals and families navigating mental and behavioral health challenges. My experience spans children ages 3–17 and adults 18+, providing services in individual, group, and family settings. Additionally, my roles as a Foster Care Parent, Case manager, and Director have deepened my understanding of trauma, particularly among youth in the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) conservatorship.
I believe that communication is fundamental to healing. It’s not just about talking—it’s about truly listening, expressing empathy, and showing love. Growing up, I thought I knew the best ways to communicate. Over time, I’ve learned that communication comes in many forms. For many, finding the right words is challenging. By exploring different ways to express ourselves, we can break down barriers and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health.
If you're seeking a space where you can be heard, understood, and supported, I’m here to walk alongside you.
