The Change Factor

It is my belief that life is a long journey of change and transformation, and while we are aware to it or not, we spend a great amount of energy resisting it. I’ll be the first to admit that when the word change is spoken, there is an instant reaction that is felt. More times that not, that reaction is fear. Fear of abandoning one’s self for something better, as if we were not good enough. Can perspective change that reaction? I would believe so, in the same light as to how perspective can change how we respond to our view of stress. After all, as far as my approach to life goes, the goal is not to change oneself. Rather it is to come to terms with the transformative process of life

What if transformation actually meant that we stop analyzing our lives, stop striving for some sort of Oprah-esque AHA moment and we give in to the natural order of life. Think butterflies. The epitome of beautiful transformation. They are the ultimate symbol of change and in some sort, resurrection. Like the butterfly, we must go through many developmental stages and experiences, before our true self and purpose is discovered.

Ask yourself, what do I need to to leave behind in 2019?  What do I need to let go of so that I can become the remarkable butterfly that I was destined to be? Yes, I’ve been down and hurt but I am ready to leave that where it belongs and experience a new beginning.

If you are ready to make changes in your life, let’s connect so we can begin this journey with you.
